We are a small team of experienced engineers and practitioners across software, data, AI and security. We build systems, run our own, and stay accountable for them long after the launch.
The team
Senior by default, accountable by habit
Clients work directly with the people doing the work. There is no layer of juniors learning on the engagement and no hand-off between the people who sell it and the people who build it.
Engineers first
Everyone here builds. The people who advise a client on a system are people who have designed, shipped and operated systems like it.
We run what we build
We operate our own software in production, so the standards we recommend are ones we keep ourselves when something breaks at an awkward hour.
Across four disciplines
Software, data, AI and security under one roof, so a problem is solved by whoever it actually belongs to rather than by whoever happened to win the work.
Plain about limits
We would rather tell a client what not to build than sell them something they do not need. That honesty is expected of everyone who joins.
How we work
What working here is like
A few things hold true on every engagement, and they shape the day to day more than any policy does.
- Ownership
- You own a piece of work from the first conversation through to running it, rather than a slice of it for a sprint.
- Standards
- The same engineering standard on every engagement, whether the client is a founder or an enterprise: tested, observable, secure and handed over properly.
- Evidence
- Decisions written down, access controlled and changes recorded, because our clients are asked hard questions and so are we.
- Range
- Work that crosses disciplines, so a data engineer sees the security review and a security engineer sees the product being built.
